چکیده
Abstract Generally, low flow in rivers occur as a result of extended period dryness which is likely attributed to drought. Drought natural occurrence an outcome reduction precipitation region for long time. Hence, growing concern there are possibilities more reduced flows rivers. However, reservoirs can be utilized mitigate negative effects on the supply water dry periods and other purposes. This study aims at verifying how condition Glomma River Norway has been progressively sustained by hydropower reservoirs. Water Evaluation Planning Systems (WEAP) software was used modelling streamflow River, longest river Norway, using two unregulated sub-basins within catchment. Findings from this presents that between January March critical River. Results show values annual minimum gotten three gauges suggest after regulation increased significantly opposed before regulation. The daily average simulated WEAP 100 m 3 /s during discharge 350 summer. indicates summer 80% majority years. In addition, Nash Sutcliffe efficiency (NSE) sub basins 0.9 0.76, respectively. Also, calculation coefficient determination ( R 2 ) resulted 0.85 0.78 respectively basins. particular, findings evidence prior its flow.
